Harper is 10 months!

This post is coming a few days too late, but Harper turned 10 months on Sunday. Here are some of the things he likes and does:

• He is getting very good at walking while holding on to the furniture. He also likes to hold on to Andre's tricycle and walk with it. He's getting closer and closer to walking on his own.

• He started to crawl the 'normal' way, however the army crawl is still prevalent as it is much faster. The times he chooses to crawl on all fours is when he has just the diaper on and he doesn't want to scrape his cute tubby belly.
• Харпер начал ползать по-человечески на четвереньках, но он все равно предпочитает партизанский стиль - так как передвигается таким образом намного быстрее. В основном он ползает на четвереньках если он только в памперсе и бережет свой животик от царапин.


• He learned that the buttons on the front of TV actually do something and is quick to get to them and push them - making most of us upset when we watch our shows, but especially Andre - so when he sees Harper standing up by the TV, he rushes to pick him up and carry him over to the couch. He has dropped him only once (the first time he attempted it and I had no idea he was doing it), and one of these days I will get a picture of that, but for now I have to worry about Harper's safety.

• He is still a cry baby and very much momma's boy. His philosophy is that if I am in the room I should be holding him. He can be happy playing with toys, buit as soon as he catches me cross the room he immediately starts to wail.
• Харпер все еще плакса и маменькин сынок. Он может быть абсолютно веселым играя со своими игрушками, но как только я вхожу в комнату он сразу же начинает плакать. Его философия - если мама в комнате, она должна меня держать.


• He loves to eat our food - baby food just doesn't look that enticing. He loves cheese and I can give him a stick of string cheese without breaking it into small pieces and it will be gone in the matter of seconds (and he never chokes on it - he is a very good biter/chewer). And this is what happens when he gets his hands on a chocolate chip cookie:
• Он любит кушать "взрослую" еду - пюрешки нас особо не устраивают. Он большой любитель сыра. А вот что получается когда мы находим шоколадное печенье:


• He is always excited to see Jeff come home from work, and immediately waives when he walks in.
• Он очень рад видеть папу, и как только он переступает через порог Харпер моментально начинает махать ему ручкой.
